Terms & Conditions

1. Maximum of 3 rods per person and 6 people staying at the lake.

2. No bent hooks.

3. Barbless or micro hooks only.

4. No shock leaders.

5. Main line min 12lb.

6. No fixed rigs.

7. No braid main line for fishing.

8. No wire traces for catfish.

9. No treble hooks.

10. Use of unhooking mats is mandatory.

11. No peanuts or uncooked particles.

12. Tiger nuts to be for hook baits only.

13. No sacking of catfish.

14. Maximum sacking of carp 1 hour.

15. All fish must be treated with respect and returned to the lake unharmed.

16. No open fires.

17. BBQ's in designated area only.

18. All litter must be put in bins provided.

19. Please do not damage any trees etc.

20. Please use the toilet provided.

21. Boat is for baiting only (bait boats are allowed).

22. Visitors must be courteous to others using the lane to the lake.

23. No swimming in the lake.

24. Building and contents to be looked after and left in a tidy condition.

25. Cour de lion fisheries, employees or contractors cannot be held responsible for whatever reason for any incidents or accidents to persons and their belongings, over which it has no control, whilst on its land. In no event will we be liable to you or any other person for loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or other).

26. Force Majeure: We will not be liable for loss or delay by any of the following: Strikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities, War or threat of War, Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Technical/Weather problems to transport, Closure of Ports, Weather conditions or any other event(s) beyond our control.

27. Persons taking children are reminded that they do so entirely at their own risk. Adults are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children. Extra care should always be taken near water.

28. Personal and European breakdown insurance is recommended, but not supplied by Cour de lion fisheries.

29. All decisions made by Cour de lion fisheries or its employees in respect of the terms and conditions listed are non negotiable and if not followed will result in the termination of the contract between Cour de lion fisheries and the booking party, resulting in the booked party being asked to leave with all monies paid forfeited.
